A special ceremony was held at Lindsey Elementary School to dedicate a buddy bench on the fifth-grade playground in memory of classmate Madelyn Sukol. The bench captures things that Maddie enjoyed – being outdoors and friendship, which is how the idea was developed. Two students in the Excel TECC Welding Program designed and built the bench, one being a West Geauga High School student. This beautiful bench offers a place to relax, reflect, show kindness and be a friend. Feel free to stop by the playground this summer to enjoy.
