In my 15 years of experience at West G., I have taught both kindergarten and first grade. I also taught one year of half day K at Lindsey some time ago. I enjoy tutoring students during the summer months.

In May of 2001, I graduated from John Carroll University with a Masters degree in Education and I am certified in grades K-8. I also earned my Reading Certification at John Carroll in July, 2002. I spent a year in the classroom as an intern student at Hawken Lower School, and held many substitute teacher positions in other school districts before being hired by West Geauga Schools. To date, I have completed several professional development courses in order to keep current in my profession.

My husband’s name is Bob and we have both a son and a daughter together, Vince and Angie. Bob is a Security Manager for Progressive. His permanent job at home is to keep our computers up-to-date and secure! Vince is currently attending OSU Medical School and will be graduating in the Spring '17. He is currently completing his residency interviews. Angie is attending the Osteopathic School of Medical at OU. She is halfway through her first year of school. We're very proud of their accomplishments!

Our favorite family vacations include Disney World, Hilton Head, and Cape May. Our most memorable vacation was traveling to Sicily, Venice, Florence, and Rome, Italy. This happened all because we hosted a foreign exchange student for one year. Now we have an extended Sicilian family that welcomes us back any time!
