Mrs. Javorek’s first grade classroom was transformed into a surgical hospital. Student doctors were called upon to "save" their patients by finding the missing vowels. Each student had a patient chart with five different patients who needed surgery. We are happy to report that all patients survived and were discharged from the hospital! Students had so much fun while practicing their phonics skills.
