Students at Kona Ice Truck

There were several fun activities the last week of school at WGMS that had students heading off to summer break with smiles! The Kona Ice Truck visited, providing all students an opportunity to create their own flavorful shaved ice treat. A special thank you to the Upper PTO for organizing the visit. Two special guests from the Geauga County Sheriff's Department visited, K-9 Justice and Deputy Primmer. Justice demonstrated some of the impressive skills and training of a police dog. Thank you to School Safety Office Sean Day for organizing the visit, along with Deputy Primmer and Justice for attending. Finally, on the last day students enjoyed field day as well as an assembly to pie their principals and teachers. It was a memorable way to end a great school year!
