West Geauga Middle School -

The student council at West Geauga Middle School started a new program to commemorate students’ academic achievement. Students earning a 4.0 grade point average (straight A’s) on their semester report card are able to select a new book that was purchased by the student council. The selected book will receive a custom name plate recognizing the accomplishment. The 4.0 student gets to enjoy the book first, then it is placed back in the classroom library for other students to borrow for years to come. The students who earned a 4.0 for the first and second quarters of this school year recently had the opportunity to select their books.
