West Geauga Middle School students kicked off their Spring Break with an all-school assembly. The entertainment was plentiful, including the West Geauga High School Marching Band rocking the gym, the National Anthem played on the electric guitar by teacher Mr. Skotzke, an Irish dancer performance, cheerleaders, prizes, and the main event – teachers versus students volleyball games.
During the month of March, students in each grade-level had the opportunity to earn tickets by showing “empathy”, which was the PBIS lesson of the month. The tickets were entered into a raffle to win a spot on the team and represent their grade in the volleyball game. It was a fun-filled afternoon with lots of laughter, friendly competition and excitement!
