Halloween Parade and Party

The Lindsey Elementary Halloween celebrations will be Monday, Oct 31, 2022:

  • Costume Parade: 9:15-9:45 a.m.
  • Class Parties: 9:45-10:15 a.m.

Weather permitting students will parade outside the perimeter of the Lindsey school building. Guests will stand in the front of the building on the sidewalk and blacktop. Students will be parading on the blacktop coming out by the band room (former Kindergarten classroom) and walking the length of the sidewalk in the front of the building making a circle so all parents can take pictures and see their students and then return through the art room doors. All cars should park in the large side parking lot for the parade and parties.

In case of inclement weather, guests may enter the front doors and line up around the perimeter of the gymnasium for the parade indoor. Please note that all visitors MUST adhere to the same costume guidelines as students, should adults choose to dress up for the costume parade. Furthermore, all adults must adhere to our WG mask guidance.

Classroom parties will be from 9:45-10:15 a.m. Only the homeroom parent(s) (assigned by PTO) and party helper(s) arranged by the homeroom parent will be permitted to attend the classroom party. The office staff will have a list of parents who are helping with parties. All helpers MUST sign in. While anyone is welcome to attend the parade, only 3 volunteers may attend the classroom party.

Please communicate with your child’s homeroom teacher if you do not want your child to participate in the party and parade, as an alternate location/activity will be available.
