The Lindsey C.A.R.E.S (Community Action Response Engagement Service) project in March was a food drive to support the Claridon Community Helps organization, which helps to feed Geauga county families during the summer months. While our other buildings are also supporting this organization, Lindsey Elementary found a unique way to combine the food drive with the elementary Little Mermaid Jr. Musical. Each student was encouraged to bring in their donation as a “ticket” to watch the student-only performance. The generosity was overwhelming. Thank you, Lindsey families, for your support of the project as we continue to teach our students the value of helping others.
