On November 16-17, the 2023 National Blue Ribbon School award was officially handed to Robert C. Lindsey Elementary. Dr. Markwardt, Mrs. Becerra and Mrs. Bellan traveled to Washington D.C. to receive the honor from the U.S Department of Education.
Upon their return from Washington D.C., Lindsey Elementary held an all-school assembly to continue the celebration of this outstanding accomplishment. In addition to the Lindsey students and staff, the current 6th grade class returned to take part in the celebration, members of the West Geauga Board of Education and Administration, and students from the High School Drumline filled the gymnasium.
