Students in the 8th grade class at West Geauga Middle School took a field trip to Washington DC at the conclusion of the school year. The itinerary for this three-day, two-night trip was packed with visits to Gettysburg, MLK and FDR Memorials, Arlington Cemetery, Holocaust Museum, WWII, Lincoln, Korean and Vietnam Memorials, Capitol Hill and Flight 93 Memorial, among other site-seeing opportunities. The guided stops provided students history lessons and experiences beyond the classroom. It was an amazing experience with many fond memories.
